Congrats to Karson and Cara!  They were married yesterday in Holland, MI.  It was a fun day, check back soon for more pics!

I absolutely LOVED this session!!  I mean, how cute are these two anyway?  They were so easy to work with and just had a lot of fun (they love pictures)!  We started out downtown Holland and then headed to Holland State Park, it was such a beautiful night!  Thanks Derek and Amy for choosing me as your photographer, I am very excited for your wedding next summer!

A couple weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Scott and Holly’s engagement pics!  I have known Holly for quite some time now, but it was fun getting to know Scott more…he is quite the character!  He doesn’t really like to get his picture taken, but he was a good sport.  He actually had me laughing the whole time, it was fun!  I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in October!

After several times of rescheduling because of this darn Michigan weather, I was able to meet up with Shawn and Katie to get their engagement pictures done!  They were so much fun, I had a great time…can’t wait for their wedding next June!

Shawn and Maria were married on July 24, 2010.  These two were absolutely amazing to work with, it was such a pleasure being a part of their day!  Here is a preview of some of their pics…

First Look!!!

Dylan and Nell were married on June 19, 2010 at the always beautiful Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park!  It was a perfect day for a wedding, here are some highlights from the day…

A little while back I put a post on facebook looking for models for my first ever Trash the Dress session!  I got a great response and ended up with a fun group of girls.  There has always been a misconception about “trashing” a dress, so the purpose of this session was to show everyone what it’s all about!  We don’t “trash” it, we just get it a little dirty and wet!  None of the dresses were trashed…nothing a dry cleaner can’t fix!

We started out at the studio getting ready and then headed to the barn to kick off the night…

From there we hit the beach where ALL the girls so willingly got in the freezing cold water for me!  LOVE you girls!!!

I had the pleasure to meet up with Chris and Brookelyn last weekend for their engagement session!  I just LOVE engagement sessions.  It gives me an opportunity to get to know the couple more and it gives them a chance to see how I work.  Well, I can tell you that Chris and Brookelyn are perfect for each other!  They are funny, sweet, and just plain CUTE together!!  We headed to Fennville to check out a spot near where Brookelyn grew up…I love new spots and I’m always up for an adventure.  Here is a preview of our time together…
