Meet Little Willa, the newest baby plan member!  I am so looking forward to watching her grow in the coming year!

This little cutie came to visit the studio last week for his 3 month old pics!  I LOVE his eyes, he’s going to be a heart breaker some day!

A little while back I put a post on facebook looking for models for my first ever Trash the Dress session!  I got a great response and ended up with a fun group of girls.  There has always been a misconception about “trashing” a dress, so the purpose of this session was to show everyone what it’s all about!  We don’t “trash” it, we just get it a little dirty and wet!  None of the dresses were trashed…nothing a dry cleaner can’t fix!

We started out at the studio getting ready and then headed to the barn to kick off the night…

From there we hit the beach where ALL the girls so willingly got in the freezing cold water for me!  LOVE you girls!!!

I am such a lucky photographer!  Let me tell you why…the cutest kids come to me to get their pictures taken and they sometimes bring along their super cute doggies too!  Then they let me do crazy things like sticking them in an old baby buggy and a stroller that is 70ish years old!

Leah was the perfect model, not one complaint from her the entire session.  Little doggie, Macy, did a fab job too for her first modeling debut!

Lynne will be a senior at West Ottawa this fall and I just recently photographed her senior pictures!  The day we picked couldn’t have been better, it felt like mid-July not early May!  We met up at a local junkyard, which was super cool…and they don’t call it a junkyard for nothing!  There was literally stuff everyone, so many fabulous photo opportunities (thanks Lynne for scoping out this fab spot ahead of time)!  After that we headed out of town for a little bit of country.  Lynne looked so sweet in her sundress and boots, love it!  I have so many favorites, but only can share a few…

This was a special session for me, and actually something that I’ve never had the honor to photograph before.   Alyssa is in the U.S. Navy and is currently stationed in California.  She will be deployed this fall and wanted some special pics for her Mom before she goes.  So we headed out to one of my favorite spots recently while she was home and took a variety of pics.  She plans to give them to her Mom for Mother’s Day!  Her full gallery is already up, but I wanted to share a few of my favorites here (and a link to the slideshow at the end)…

And this is what happens when my kids come along to a session!  Don’t worry, they aren’t usually there!  haha

I absolutely LOVE photographing maternity sessions, and how cute is this belly?  Kate and Jose came to me a few days ago for Kate’s maternity session…the day AFTER her due date!  Can you believe that?  I am anxiously awaiting the call from Kate that their little peanut has arrived, newborn sweetness in my future!

I had the honor of photographing this adorable little peanut last week!  She is such a sweetie, I could have spent all day with her!  She is the newest baby plan member, so you’ll be seeing more of this sweet face in the coming months!
