Gerald and Cynthia were married on May 23, 2009 in Grand Rapids, MI.  The day was absolutely gorgeous as was the location!  The ceremony and the reception took place at the always beautiful Fredrik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park .  Cynthia looked stunning in her dress and I immediately fell in love with the bridesmaids dresses (love the color)!  And the flowers…I couldn’t stop looking at them, they were just perfect and added the final touch.  Gail did a great job with those!    Gerald and Cynthia are so much in love, you can see it in their eyes.  I love the way that Gerald looks at Cynthia, he looks so happy and in love!

After the ceremony, we took some pictures and then headed inside for the reception.  The food was great and the cake was beautiful!  Gerald and Cynthia wasted no time getting the dance floor going and it was packed until the very end!  DJames Productions did a fabulous job keeping everybody hoppin’.  Enjoy your preview, and thanks for letting me be a part of your special day!

Okay, Evan is one of THE cutest one year olds I know!  I also found out today that he is one of the BUSIEST also!  Whew, did he make me work for it today!!  I’m pretty sure that by the end of our time together Evan’s mom and I both needed naps…(well, at least I know I did)!  But the wet knees and all the huffing and puffing was worth it, I think mom is going to be surprised at what we got!  Here are a few of my favorites…

And this is how we spent most of our session…Evan running towards me, Evan running around me, and Evan running away from me!  He’s SO dang cute though!

Last Saturday, May 16, Sarah and Dan were married in Holland, MI.  It was a beautiful day and everything was so organized.  Sarah and Dan chose to see each other before the ceremony for pictures (which I LOVE and highly recommend), so we had lots of time to get some fun pictures!  The wedding party was one of the best I’ve had yet!  They were willing to do pretty much whatever I asked and it was great!  Check out the height of those jumps!!  Here is a preview from the day…

I got my baby fix early this week when Tara brought in brand new baby Jonah for his newborn pictures!  Daddy is still in Afghanistan but will hopefully be home soon to meet his new son.  He sure is a keeper!  Here are some of my favorites from our session…

Katie [senior rep]

Wow, do I get all the luck or what?  I’m pretty sure that I get to photograph THE most beautiful seniors around!  Katie is going to be a senior next year and is one of my fabulous 2010 senior reps!  Now normally with reps I pick the spots that we are going to do, but this time I did it a little bit different and let Katie and her mom pick the locations.  I have to tell you, they found some great new spots!  It’s always so fun for me to try out different locations, you never know what you are going to find…(like big birds with wing spans wider than I am tall!)  Yup, that is what we found at this first spot.  Loved the spot…the big scary bird, not so much!

After this we headed out to Pottawatomie Park where we were thrilled to see Earth’s Edge with their kayaks all lined up…what a perfect and colorful background opportunity!

Off to our next stop at Fat Chix Coffee Cantina.  And what a cool place this was!  They have a friendly pigeon there that watched everything we did.  Besides the cute pigeon, the walls and props at this little cantina are awesome!  Check it out…
