Jason and Megan tied the knot on June 20, 2009 and I had the privilege of being there to capture every moment!  The wedding took place at Brightside Church in Caledonia with the reception at St. Sebastian Hall in Byron Center.  We were able to stop at a park on the way to the reception for some fun pictures.  They had some kind of carnival going on that day so getting the limo in the parking lot was a task in it’s self!  LOL!  We asked the guy manning the swing carousal if we could get the entire wedding party on those swings for a shot but he said “no”…bummer!  That would have been a sweet picture!  Anyways, here is a glimpse of the day…thanks for letting me be a part of it!

I was so excited when Brailee’s mom, Kathy, contacted me to do her pictures!  Kathy and I went to school together but I haven’t seen her since high school, so it was great seeing her again!  And, Brailee was such a doll and even slept for a short while for us!  Here is a sneak peek at some of my favorites…

Eric & Laura were married in a beautiful ceremony on June 13, 2009!  The wedding took place at Lakeshore Lutheran in Spring Lake, MI (which had these great wood floors up at the alter, I loved that look)!  Eric & Laura chose to see each other before the ceremony and get most of the pictures out of the way.  I just loved seeing Eric’s face when he saw his bride for the first time and I have to admit, I even shed a tear or two!  These two are so incredibly in LOVE, it’s so great to see!  After the ceremony we stopped at Grand Haven State Park for some fun shots with the bridal party.  They were up for anything and it was a super fun time!   Then on to the reception at Spring Lake County Club.  I thought it was great that they held the guests back from entering the room and kept them entertained inside and out at the club until the bridal party arrived.   This gave me some time to sneak in and get some great detail shots without any people in them!!  And I have to say the room was so beautifully decorated, it took my breath away!

Josh & Kristen were married today in Caledonia, MI.  Congrats guys, more to come soon!

I photographed this little sweatheart last week in Grand Haven, MI.  Isn’t she the cutest thing ever??  Her mom and I used to work together at the dental office.  Now her mommy is a dentist and back in town to start her career…congrats Kalisha!!  It was nice seeing her again and meeting her beautiful daugher.  We had a nice lunch and then headed downtown for some pics.  We let Aaliyah take the lead and she had no problem with that, the only problem I had was keeping up with her!!  Here is a peek at some of my favorites from the session…

I’m pretty sure that Kristin is the true definition of “natural beauty”!  Wow, I’ve said it before…but seriously, I am one lucky photographer getting to photograph some of the most beautiful people around!  I met up with Kristin and her mom in Grand Haven, MI for her senior session yesterday.  It turned out to be a perfect day as we hit up some great spots downtown and then headed to the beach.  Thank you so much for choosing me to be your photographer!

David & Julie were married on June 6,2009 in Holland, MI.  The day was a bit overcast and we had to dodge a few sprinkles, but this couple did not let that get in their way!  The ceremony took place at Beechwood Church with the reception at Macatawa Legends.  We took a quick ride on the golf carts out to the bridge to get some fun shots of the couple and their wedding party!  Hope you guys had a great time in Jamaica!  Enjoy your preview and thanks for sharing your special day with me!

When Kyle contacted me a few months back in regards to shooting a wedding in June and his return email was kr-images.com I honestly wasn’t sure what he was looking for…a second shooter, a fill in for a wedding he was doing…??  Well after talking to Kyle on the phone, I soon realized that he was looking for a photographer for HIS wedding!!  No pressure, but WOW, how honored I felt when Kyle and Andrea did choose me to be their photographer!  Apparently Kyle was a bit picky on who he would have photograph this special day and I fit the bill  :)  Phew!

So, on Friday June 5, 2009 Kyle wed the most beautiful and down to earth girl I have ever met!  Seriously, Andrea was the coolest bride ever (Kyle was a pretty cool groom too)!  Obviously pictures were important to them and they were willing to do anything and everything I asked!  The wedding took place in Grand Haven at Hope Reformed Church and you could just feel the love in the air!  I brought along my husband to shoot with me which was awesome and a lot of fun!  I think his favorite part was the John Deere tractor that Kyle and Andrea used as their get away vehicle!  How awesome is that!!

The party continued on at the Harbourfront Grand Hall, which is one of my favorite places!  I was estatic when Kyle and Andrea smashed the cake in each others face…not many couples do that anymore!  See…that is how FUN these two were, loved it!
