This little cutie came to visit the studio last week for his 3 month old pics!  I LOVE his eyes, he’s going to be a heart breaker some day!

Matt and Megan were married on June 12, 2010 in what turned out to be a beautiful day!  The weather forecast was calling for a chance of rain and very hot…neither of which we seen!  It was just beautiful by the lake.  Matt and Megan were married at a cute little chapel just a block away from Lake Macatawa.  Central Park Chapel was just heavenly with wide open windows and a nice breeze blowing through, it couldn’t have been more perfect!  After the ceremony the wedding party hopped on a boat and took a ride across the lake to their reception at the Yacht Basin Marina.  The room was so beautifully decorated and the food was fabulous!  I loved the ice cream bar too…a nice way to end a perfect day!  Thanks Matt and Megan for allowing me to be a part of your special day.  I wish you many years of happiness!

Congrats to Dylan & Nell!  They were married today in a beautiful ceremony at Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park!

A little while back I put a post on facebook looking for models for my first ever Trash the Dress session!  I got a great response and ended up with a fun group of girls.  There has always been a misconception about “trashing” a dress, so the purpose of this session was to show everyone what it’s all about!  We don’t “trash” it, we just get it a little dirty and wet!  None of the dresses were trashed…nothing a dry cleaner can’t fix!

We started out at the studio getting ready and then headed to the barn to kick off the night…

From there we hit the beach where ALL the girls so willingly got in the freezing cold water for me!  LOVE you girls!!!

I had the pleasure of photographing Brayden earlier this week!  He was such a typical “busy” 2 year old…but I LOVE this age!  Check out some of my favorites from the session…

I am such a lucky photographer!  Let me tell you why…the cutest kids come to me to get their pictures taken and they sometimes bring along their super cute doggies too!  Then they let me do crazy things like sticking them in an old baby buggy and a stroller that is 70ish years old!

Leah was the perfect model, not one complaint from her the entire session.  Little doggie, Macy, did a fab job too for her first modeling debut!

How can I not love my job?
